![]() The Centre for Advance Property Economics (CAPE) Board of Regents has authorized three select boards. The Boards are comprised of, at minimum, three members and a Dean or Chairperson for a designated period of time or term of office. The Board of Advance Research, Board of Publications and the Board of Public Programmes actively conduct business in accordance with CAPE’s Bylaws, Procedural Rules and Policies. The Centre’s Boards focus is on the Mission and Vision statements for the benefit of the Public, Appraisal Profession and other interested and concerned organizations or individuals. The Centre also has a Nominating Committee, which makes recommendations of candidates for each select board and the Board of Regents. All candidate nominations require final approval by the Board of Regents. Advanced Research BoardThe primary goal and purpose of the Board of Advanced Research is to actively engage in leading edge research and technology of property economics, valuation theory, techniques and methods that advance the professionalism, goals, and objectives of the appraisal industry for public good. Research of advanced appraisal concepts, theories, techniques and methods are at the forefront of this Board. Educational symposiums, publications and public media offerings are vehicles used towards in the pursuit of promoting the appraisal profession for the benefit of the public.Board Members Publications BoardThe Publications Board endeavors to inform and assist appraisal organizations, consultants, attorneys, industry representatives and the public in advanced property valuation theory, techniques and property economics through its Centre Pointe Newsletter, professional economic journal publications, research papers and presentations and its website. Informative public media publications are provided to the public, appraisers and other interested individuals or organizations.Board Members Public Programmes BoardThe primary goal and purpose of the Board of Public Programmes is to actively engage and pursue forums, symposiums, programmes and special media events that impart knowledges and skills of advanced research and technology of property economics that will enhance the appraisal profession and appraisal organizations towards improved professionalism and excellence in appraisals and valuation for the public good. Advanced property economic forums, symposiums and programmes are the primary focus of this Board.Board
Members Nominating CommitteeThe Chair of the Nominating Committee is appointed by the President of the Centre for Advanced Property Economics (CAPE) annually. The Nominating Committee meets at least once annually or at other times during the calendar year as may be deemed necessary to nominate and make recommendations of candidates for board vacancies or appointments for expired terms.
